Hey all! Lou here; I’m happy to say that I’ve returned to the blog after taking the summer off. With the strain of the pandemic flooding everybody’s lives, myself included, I very much felt as I needed to take some time to myself. It was a mostly peaceful and cathartic time, but I do apologize if readers on here were left wondering about my absence. Thankfully, we’ve reached a point with CAA where we have plenty of archived material to keep folks entertained and enlightened.
Coming up for the fall & winter, I would like to incorporate more of a philosophical, even spiritual edge to the website. I’ve always had interests in things that would probably be considered mysterious (i.e. out-of-body experiences, near-death experiences, secret societies, strange disappearances, etc.). I think it is because I enjoy challenging my usual thought-processes and sort of, interrupting that cerebral flow. Therefore, since recovery essentially is a perpetual journey in new ideas and learning, I thought it would be fun to share my interest with you all. (For my observant readers, I have a bit in the past on here.) And of course, if you have any elaborate interests that have also positively fulfilled your life in recovery, you are ALWAYS welcome to share.
Let’s start here… Are you superstitious?
